Monosodium Glutemate ,Colorless to white prismatic crystal or white crystalline powder, colorless aqueous solution, with strong meat flavor, slightly sweet or salty taste, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, tomatoes, fermented soybean products, yeast extract, some pointed cheese, and fermented or hydrolyzed protein products (such as soy sauce or soy sauce) can bring about flavoring effect It's partly due to the presence of glutamate.
